Privacy Policy

Last updated March 24, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Platform Aeronaut Proxy Statements handles information when you browse the site, sign in, save content, or interact with platform features.

The platform is designed to minimize personal-data collection. Most public research pages can be viewed without creating an account, and logged-in features are limited to profile-linked preferences such as watchlists, saved comparisons, and administrative access.

Information We Collect

When you use the site anonymously, we may receive standard technical information such as browser type, device characteristics, page requests, referrer data, coarse IP-derived location, and service logs generated by our hosting and analytics providers.

When you sign in through our hosted authentication flow, we may receive account identifiers such as your email address, name, profile metadata supplied by the auth provider, and an internal user id needed to associate watchlists, saved comparisons, and admin permissions.

If you use authenticated features, we store the minimum data required to support those features, including watchlist items, saved comparison bundles, profile records, and admin audit or job-trigger history associated with your account.

How We Use Information

We use technical and account information to operate the site, secure the platform, maintain sessions, provide saved features, troubleshoot failures, review abuse, and improve product quality.

We may also use operational data to monitor ingestion jobs, validate extraction quality, investigate QA issues, and understand which product areas are being used so we can prioritize improvements.

Service Providers

The platform may use service providers for hosting, database storage, object storage, analytics, authentication, logging, and AI processing. At the time of this build, the stack is designed around Vercel, Neon, Vercel Blob, hosted Platform Aeronaut auth infrastructure, and configured model providers such as OpenRouter or OpenAI.

These providers may process data on our behalf as part of delivering the service. Their systems may generate their own logs, telemetry, and retention behavior under their independent policies and contractual terms.

Cookies And Session Data

The site uses cookies or comparable session mechanisms to keep users signed in, protect authenticated actions, and preserve core application behavior. Some providers may also set cookies or similar identifiers for analytics, security, or embedded auth flows.

If you disable required cookies, certain account and admin features may not function correctly.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information through this site. We share data only as needed to operate the platform, comply with law, protect the service, investigate misuse, or complete a transaction you explicitly request, such as authentication or saved-profile actions.

We may disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to enforce our terms, address security incidents, or respond to valid legal process.

Retention

We retain account-linked information for as long as it is reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain security records, preserve backups, and satisfy operational or legal obligations. Retention periods may vary between the application database, logs, analytics, and storage providers.

If you stop using the site, some residual information may remain in backups, logs, or system snapshots for a limited period before routine deletion cycles remove it.

Your Choices

You can limit account-linked data by not signing in, or by avoiding saved features such as watchlists and comparison storage. Logged-in users can also remove saved items directly through the profile area when those actions are available.

If you need a privacy-related request handled outside of self-service controls, use the Platform Aeronaut contact channel published on the primary Platform Aeronaut site and include enough detail for us to identify the relevant account.

Children And Changes

This site is intended for a professional and general research audience and is not designed for children.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves. When we make material changes, the updated version posted on this page will govern going forward, with the revision date updated accordingly.
